Sabrina (she/her) is a New York City based psychotherapist and licensed social worker whose focus is to foster a welcoming and comfortable environment for clients to explore the various struggles they are facing. Sabrina was born and raised in Connecticut and received her Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Connecticut. Sabrina then came to New York City to complete her Master’s in Social Work at New York University. Sabrina has a variety of experiences working with clients in settings such as non-profit agencies, private practices and residential programs.
Sabrina aims to build strong and meaningful relationships with clients. She utilizes this relationship to assist clients in discovering their strengths and developing skills needed to cope. Sabrina believes in creating a comfortable and safe environment while challenging clients to allow them to reach their full potential and grow. She has worked with various clients from children to adults of all different backgrounds. She has a strong passion for working with adolescents and young adults, and has experience working with many issues facing these populations such as depression, anxiety, OCD and body image struggles. Sabrina uses her social work skills to look at all aspects of a person’s life and background and work alongside the client to develop their therapeutic goals and the steps to achieve them.
Sabrina enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities such as taking strolls in parks with her friends and family when the weather is nice. Sabrina also loves going out to eat and trying new restaurants throughout the city.
