Diversity and Inclusion
At Collaborative, we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all team members. We recognize the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and believe that these values are integral to providing effective health care.
2. Definition of Diversity:
For us, diversity means recognizing and valuing all aspects of difference, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, ability, religion, and socioeconomic status. We believe that embracing diversity is a source of strength, and that it allows us to better understand and serve our clients.
3. Benefits of Diversity:
Research has shown that diversity in therapy leads to better outcomes for clients, and we are committed to providing care that is culturally sensitive and responsive to the unique needs of each individual. We also recognize that creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is critical to our success as a company, and we value the unique perspectives and insights that our team member bring.
4. Cultural competence:
At Collaborative, we are commuted to cultural competence. Our team receives training in cultural competence, which includes understanding and respecting the cultural backgrounds, beliefs, and values of our clients. We strive to provide care that is sensitive to the unique needs of each individual, and we are always working to improve our understanding of different cultures and communities.
We recognize that mental care can be difficult to access for underserved populations, and as such, we are committed to reducing the barriers to care. We offer a range of services to increase accessibility, including telehealth and finciaal hardship. We also prioritize outreach to communities that are historically underserved.
6. Call to action:
We value feedback from our clients and are always looking for ways to improve our services and create a more welcoming and inclusive environment. We encourage clients to share their experiences with us and let us know if there are any additional steps, we can take to better serve their needs.
