Katherine (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle and is pursuing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University.

She believes in each individual’s inherent strengths and potential to foster self-growth and self-actualization. She is dedicated to building trusting and authentic relationships with her clients. Utilizing a non-judgmental and warm approach, Katherine provides a safe space for clients to share their thoughts and feelings. She is committed to empowering her clients, helping them navigate their challenges, and supporting them in achieving their personal and mental health goals.

She is experienced in addressing various issues, including anxiety, depression, interpersonal matters, adjustment challenges, and academic difficulties. She incorporates evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT, as well as client-centered and psychodynamic approaches. She also completes her level 1 training in Gottman Couples Therapy. She tailors treatments to match clients’ unique experiences and needs, ensuring a personalized therapeutic journey. She is also available to provide counseling in both English and Mandarin, making her accessible and offering bilingual counseling therapy upon need.

In her spare time, Katherine enjoys spending time with her loved ones and playing with her adorable black cat. She loves trying new restaurants, engaging in photography, and taking advantage of the good weather in NYC to explore the city.
